Vaelara Ltd is a telecommunications software company registered in England and Wales. We build encrypted communications tools for clinical, industrial, and field teams. This policy explains how we handle personal data in connection with our website and products.
What data we collect
We collect personal data only when you actively provide it, for example when you fill in our contact form. This typically includes:
- Your name
- Your organisation name
- Your email address
- The content of your message
We do not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or behavioural profiling tools on this website.
Why we collect it
We use the information you submit to:
- Respond to your enquiry
- Follow up on product or partnership discussions
We do not use your data for marketing without explicit consent, and we do not sell it to anyone.
Legal basis
Our legal basis for processing contact form submissions is legitimate interests : specifically, responding to business enquiries. Where we send follow-up communications beyond your initial request, we will ask for your consent.
How we store it
Contact form messages are routed through a Cloudflare Worker to our CRM (Zoho). Data is stored in the UK or EEA. We retain enquiry data for a maximum of 24 months unless there is an ongoing business relationship, in which case we retain it for the duration of that relationship plus 12 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to our use of your data
- Complain to the ICO if you believe we've mishandled your data
